Jessie Ramirez left this world over the weekend. She was a beloved friend, mother, sister, and colleague, among many other things. Jessie showed us all how to laugh and be grateful despite the things life throws at us. She was funny and kind and generous and sassy as hell. Jessie had the biggest heart, and losing her has left a tremendous hole in ours. 
 

Jessie always wanted to be seen as self-reliant, and she always put on a brave face, even when she was in pain. At this time, we ask that everyone share the love that Jessie gave us to give back to her pride and joy, her son, Gabriel “Lalo”, though like his mom, he’d never ask for it. The donations received will go toward a memorial for his mom and anything else he needs during this difficult time.
