Steve Harper hasn’t been able to see for 10 ½ years now!  Life as he knew it changed for him and everyone around him in about 30 seconds.  January 18th 2016 while jump starting my car the battery exploded. He got a chemical burn from that. The smoke went in both eyes.

Steve has underwent 27 surgeries in the past 10 ½ years.  He would gain some sight after each Cornea transplant and within weeks that would be gone. The limbal stem cells behind his eyes were too badly damaged to sustain the transplants!

there is one Surgery left,  the  Boston K Pro 2. He is going to Boston Mass for this in July but the problem is the 3 weeks aftercare plan requires he stay in Boston during that time which is very expensive. This is not covered by insurance for lodging and food or travel.
