Nathan Sexton was recently diagnosed with CLL (Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia) and SLL
(Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma). Nathan and his family are seeking treatment in Houston,
Texas at Md Anderson ranked #1 in the nation. Where they have been known to put this kind of
cancer into remission and cancer free for many years.

Nathan’s a dedicated father to a 3 year old, 2 year old, and 12 year old, son of Roger and Debbie Sexton, husband, and hard worker-who is currently out of work on disability due to illness and work limitations that are not accommodatable. Who could really use some help and support to try and save his life and give him a longer life.

Life can change in a single heartbeat. Recently, the Sexton family’s world was turned upside down when Nathan Sexton went to bed feeling well, only to wake up the next morning with a concerning knot above his right eyebrow. What began as a moment of confusion quickly spiraled into a medical crisis. Shortly after that first sign, Nathan began experiencing alarming symptoms, including frequent nose and ear bleeds. After a long and anxious journey of testing, the family received the devastating news: Nathan has been diagnosed with CLL (Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia) and SLL (Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma). Doctors have confirmed that the cancer has reached 95% of his body.

The Road Ahead
The Sexton family is currently fighting for the best possible outcome for Nathan. However, that road will come with great expense.

Specialized Care: The family is working to keep treatments going for Nathan at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas, a world class facility where he has his best fighting chance. This path involves significant costs for travel, lodging, fuel, food, and the many unexpected expenses that arise during long-term medical treatment away from home. This involves a specialized medication regimen. While they are grateful to have insurance, they are out of pocket costs—even after coverage—are incredibly high, creating a heavy financial burden.
 

One medication co pay as of now is 5020.00 he does this medication for 14 months.
Starts IV Infusion starts on July 15th and 16th and then once a month for 6 months no clue cost yet.
Then starts a 3rd medication in a few weeks from that for 14 months cost is yet unknown for it.

The Need for Support:
Beyond the medical crisis, financial strain is becoming insurmountable. With three children at home—two of whom require daily childcare—the family is struggling to manage essential daily costs while simultaneously trying to fund Nathan’s life-saving treatment.
