This fundraiser is for a truly remarkable young mother of five who is currently fighting stage 4 cancer. She is someone very dear to my heart—a former student of mine with the kindest spirit, a loving soul, and a deep devotion to her children. Tragically, I remember consoling her in 4th grade when she lost her own mother to cancer at a young age, and now she is facing the same battle that she never imagined she would have to fight.

Right now, her greatest fear isn’t the illness itself—it’s the thought of leaving her children behind. Because of her diagnosis and ongoing treatments, she is unable to work and is overwhelmed by mounting medical bills. Funds raised will go directly toward medical expenses, treatments, and additional health options that may give her more time, comfort, and hope, as well as help support her family during this impossible season.
