My moms has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer, Overnight, our lives changed. Instead of planning family gatherings and making memories, our days are now filled with chemotherapy treatments, doctor's appointments, scans, and uncertainty. If you know my mom, you know she has spent her entire life taking care of everyone around her. She is the kind of person who opens her heart to anyone who needs it. She raised five daughters with unconditional love and has always put everyone else's needs before her own. Even now, while fighting cancer, she worries more about how everyone else is doing than herself. The past year has already brought our family unimaginable heartbreak. We lost both of my grandparents, my mom's best friend, and my little sister's best friend, whom my mom loved like another daughter. Through every loss, she continued to be the strong, loving person everyone could lean on. Now she is facing the hardest battle of her life. I created this fundraiser because cancer doesn't just affect a person's health—it affects every part of life. The costs of treatment, travel, medications, household bills, and everyday living continue to add up. My stepdad has had to step away from work when needed to help care for my mom, and I have been balancing my work as a CNA with helping care for her as well. Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward helping my mom and stepdad with these expenses so they can focus on what truly matters: her treatment, her healing, and making precious memories together. Most of all, we ask for your prayers, encouragement, and positive thoughts as my mom continues this fight.
