Hi guys this is something I have never had to deal with. So I rented this home after leaving a 16 years marriage moved it is was beautiful peaceful and felt like I could finally rebuild my life. Well surprise to me after being here 3 months the ceiling started leaking I reached out to the landlord and made Him aware he said the roofs would be out the next day. He ell two days had went past and no roofers I contacted the landlord  numerous times to no avail. I got off of work and was laying in bed after working 12 hours and doing homework ( I’m in school for nursing) I heard this loud noise I go look in the room I used as an office and see this disaster. The entire ceiling is on the floor. I have reached out to the landlord several times and I also contacted my rental insurance company the landlord has yet to respond and the insurance company said they can not approve my claim due to the ceiling already leaking. 

I am seeking assistance to move as I have to now fight a court battle to attempt to recover my money that I have paid hi. I have been approved for a new home but after paying rent, tuition, and court filing fees I have nothing to my name. Any and everything helps and I will be forever grateful I just want to be able to be happy and peaceful I feel like life is just throwing me curve balls left and right.
