I have been on dialysis for over four years, with 12-hour sessions every day, and I am asking for help with the medical bills that have built up along the way. I have also been married for over 26 years, and this has weighed heavily on my life and my family. I graduated college in NYC, where I lived most of my life, and I am originally from Transylvania. I came here without even knowing what “hello” meant, so asking for help like this is not easy for me. Even with Medicare and another insurance plan, I am still facing piles of unpaid bills from doctor visits, dialysis supplies, medications, and regular blood work. 

Living with this every day has been devastating. I deal with severe leg pain and belly pain throughout the day, and the physical toll is already so much to carry. On top of that, the unpaid bills keep growing, making an already difficult situation even harder. 

Support from this fundraiser will help me pay for doctor visits and dialysis supplies first, which would give me at least a little relief from the constant financial pressure. I need help as soon as possible. 

Dialysis, doctor visits, supplies, medications, and blood work are not one-time costs for me. They keep coming month after month, and that is why steady support would help so much.
