Support Isis Sio – A Fighter Inside and Outside the Ring
On Saturday, March 21st, rising women’s junior flyweight boxer Isis Sio stepped into the ring in San Bernardino, California, doing what she loves most—fighting with heart, discipline, and purpose.
Isis is not only a dedicated athlete, but a young woman who has worked tirelessly to build her career in professional boxing. Every fight she accepts is thoughtfully reviewed, carefully considered, and approached with full preparation and commitment. This was no different.
During her bout against Jocelyn Camarillo, Isis suffered a devastating knockout that led to a critical medical emergency. She was immediately hospitalized and placed into a medically induced coma.
Today, we are grateful to share that Isis is now out of her coma and off the ventilator, but she remains at Loma Linda University Medical Center. While this is a step forward, her journey to recovery is just beginning.❤️
Please help with her recovery journey moving forward. We are truly thankful for the prayers and support each and everyone has shown thus far in the boxing community and outside the ring. It’s truly inspiring. - Team Isis
