I'm reaching out because someone in my community needs help, and I can't stand by and do nothing.
There's an elderly widow who is facing a crisis. She barely gets by on what little income she has, and right now she's in real danger of losing her home. Her property taxes haven't been paid, and foreclosure is a real threat looming over her head.
But that's not all. Her gas has been shut off, which means she has no hot water for showers and can't use her stove to cook. I can't imagine facing winter without heat, without the ability to take a warm shower, or without being able to prepare a hot meal. The thought of her becoming homeless keeps me up at night.
This is where I need your help. With donations, we can pay her back taxes to stop the foreclosure and get her gas turned back on. She'll have hot water again. She'll be able to cook in her own kitchen. Most importantly, she'll have a home and the dignity that comes with it.
$2,500 can change everything for her. It can mean the difference between having a roof over her head and being out on the street. It can mean hot showers and home-cooked meals instead of going without.
If you're able to give, please do. Any amount helps. And if you can't give right now, please share this with someone who might be able to. We can do this together.
Veuillez faire un don pour commenter.
