Ditto has already fought harder in his tiny life than most ever should have to.
After surviving panleukopenia and finally seeming like he was on the road to recovery, Ditto suddenly took a terrifying turn. His wobbliness became severe, he began vomiting and experiencing profuse diarrhea, crying constantly as if he didn’t understand what was happening to his little body. Tonight, I rushed him to the emergency vet praying we weren’t losing him after everything he had already survived.
Right now, we are waiting on labs and answers. The ER team is concerned about possible neurological complications and additional underlying illness, and Ditto needs extensive supportive care, diagnostics, medications, and monitoring.
If you know Ditto, you know he is a fighter. Even when his body fails him, he still tries. He still wants comfort. He still wants to live.
Emergency veterinary care is incredibly expensive, especially after weeks of intensive care for panleuk kittens, but I will never stop fighting for him as long as he is fighting too.
If you are able to donate, share, or simply keep Ditto in your thoughts tonight, it would mean more than I can ever express. Every dollar will go directly toward his emergency medical care and ongoing treatment.
Thank you for loving this tiny boy alongside me.
