First, we want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts to every single person who shared Gracie’s posts, searched, prayed, checked sightings, and never gave up hope. Because of your kindness and support, Gracie is finally home. ❤️

Unfortunately, our journey isn’t over yet.

After being missing for three days in temperatures over 100°F, Gracie was found scared, severely dehydrated, underweight, and badly injured. Our veterinarian believes she was hurt the very first night she went missing. She suffered a severe displaced closed fracture to her leg, a broken tail, and numerous cuts and scratches. She is also beginning to show signs of infection.

To save her leg from amputation, Gracie urgently needs orthopedic surgery, which is scheduled for later this week or early next week at Chatham Animal Clinic. The estimated cost of her care is more than $6,000.
