My name is Jenna, and I’m asking for your help with something that would truly change my life.

I live with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), a condition that causes sudden drops in blood pressure without warning. Even with medication, I experience dizziness, weakness, and fainting spells. In December 2025, I passed out at work, making it clear that I need additional support to safely continue working and living independently.

There is no technology that can reliably warn me before an episode—but a medical alert service dog can.

My Golden Retriever, Dellingr (“Dell”), has already shown natural alerting behavior, responding to changes in my body before I even notice symptoms. He’s been accepted into the Medical Mutts Medical Alert Service Dog training program, where he will receive professional training to alert me before episodes occur and assist me in daily life.

Training costs $12,000–$16,000, and I am fundraising to make this possible. Training Dell costs significantly less than starting with a new dog and allows him to stay with our family.
