The two current pumps I have tried and used both aren't quite the right fit for my lifestyle

The Omnipod 5 has tanked in quality and does not do enough to help me manage my diabetes as tight as I need to. It also keeps having leaks and doesn't stick well without some sort of outer adhesive which they do not provide for free. 

The Ilet  for me is too automatic, while it did get my blood sugars in range, for long term it would be too restricting. It is a completely automatic learning system that takes no input from any human. While it does mean I dont have ro pre-bolus or carb count and just be carb aware….I dont like how the only solution is to just deal with the lows and to just let it learn. This made me have to snack more overnight which isn't healthy and made it harder for me to plan events or exercise because it would often have too much insulin on board for me.

I can either switch to the Tandem T Slix x2 or to the Medtronic 780. Both have technologies to help cover me during high blood sugars and to help keep my in range even with possible lows making them easier to treat.

the 1500 would help me cover transfer cost and getting me set up with low treatments and any other devices i might need while I learn whichever one I chose
