Help Breanna Secure Urgent Legal Representation for Her Four Children

I am a Missouri mother facing four active juvenile court and child-welfare cases without consistent legal representation. I urgently need an experienced Missouri juvenile and family-law attorney to help protect my children and ensure our family’s position is properly presented. My immediate fundraising goal is $750 to begin attorney consultations, with an overall legal-fund goal of approximately $3,700.

Because these cases involve my children, I cannot publicly share confidential interviews, records, allegations, or evidence. I am protecting my children’s privacy and the integrity of their cases, even though that means I cannot tell everyone the complete story.

Over the past month, I have spent approximately 50 hours each week—more than 200 hours total—printing, reviewing, and organizing more than 600 pieces of documentation. I have received paperwork indicating that every allegation investigated in connection with these matters was unsubstantiated.

I have given this everything I have, but organizing records does not make me a lawyer. I need qualified counsel to examine the complete record, preserve evidence, meet upcoming deadlines, determine what is legally relevant and admissible, and present it properly in court.

How This Began

The case began with a Temporary Alternative Placement Agreement, or TAPA, presented to me as a voluntary and temporary arrangement. Within approximately two days, emergency removal of my two youngest children—now five and two years old—was authorized at approximately 2:30 in the morning.

Since then, theyve remained separated from their older siblings. They have been moved through three different  placements two of which were reported for physical abuse.. and now live more than four hours away from me and their siblings and I didn’t recieve meaningful opportunity to visit them before they were transported so far away..

My babies are not someone’s  paperwork or case numbers. They are MY young children who have experienced horrid emotional things and repeated moves, separation from their family, and distance that has made visitation and maintaining our relationships substantially harder.

My contact with my oldest daughter  abruptly ended four months ago after my middle daughter continued making multiple reports to case personnel and me.. reports about  troubling conduct in their placement home. Those reports included negative statements about me and behavior that discouraged my children’s relationships and communication with me.

I preserved what was reported and raised my concerns through the appropriate channels. I have now gone approximately four months without seeing my oldest daughter.

I miss her every day. I miss them all every minute of every hour each and  every day.

Ive come to realize I have plenty documentation regarding this same family member having made serious boundary concerns involving my childrentwo years before these proceedings,. These included efforts to arrange or gain access to my children without my knowledge and attempts to interfere in my relationships with them. I raised these concerns at the time through dated messages concerning holidays, visits, contact, and decisions involving my children.

As the cases developed, additional information caused me to question whether that earlier pattern may be connected to what is happening now. I also have concerns about the children’s mental, emotional, and physical well-being, possible pressure or influence involving them, and the way certain court and agency processes have been used.

I cannot responsibly litigate those issues through a public fundraiser. I need an attorney to review the evidence and determine what can properly be proven and presented in court.

Why I Am Asking for Help

I have applied for legal aid and contacted multiple attorneys, but I still do not have the consistent representation these four cases require.

My immediate fundraising goal is $750. Reaching this first milestone will help me begin attorney consultations and take the first steps toward securing qualified representation.

My overall legal-fund goal is approximately $3,700. If the initial milestone is reached, I may increase the displayed goal in stages as I receive specific information about consultation fees, an attorney retainer, and other immediate legal expenses.

Donations will be used only for attorney fees and related expenses, including records, transcripts, subpoenas, filing and service costs, document production, and other necessary case expenses. I will provide appropriate updates without compromising my children’s privacy or the legal process.

I am not asking the public to decide the facts. I am asking for the opportunity to have the evidence reviewed and our position presented by qualified counsel before decisions are made that could shape the rest of my children’s lives.

Asking for help is frightening and humbling, but my pride cannot be more important than my children. I love them, I miss them, and I will continue doing everything legally and responsibly within my power to advocate for them.
