Dekalb Academy of Technology and Environment (D.A.T.E) will be going on an HBCU college tour April 6-8, 2026. The purpose of the experience is to provide exposure to HBCU culture and opportunities. Student athletes, Michael and Prince Roberts, plan to attend the field trip, as they've never stepped foot on an HBCU campus and would love exposure. On the trip, they plan to visit: 

• Bethune-Cookman College
• Florida A&M University College of Law
• Albany State University
• Fort Valley State University

Funds will cover transportation, lodging, and dining expenses. The deadline is March 15, 2026. Donations for this trip is a life-changing experience for 8th grade students, Michael and Prince Roberts. This could ultimately help  them consider post-high school plans as they enter 9th grade.
