Charles, our 16-year-old, is part of a student team competing in the American Rocketry Challenge — the largest rocket contest in the U.S. for middle and high schoolers! 🚀

Their goal is to design, build, and launch a model rocket that meets precise flight and altitude targets. The team made it to the national competition for the first time in Clarence history in 2024 and is looking to make that return trip in 2026.

The team is raising funds to cover the cost of rocket materials, motors, launch supplies, and competition travel. Because this event is academic and not athletic, school funding is not plentiful, so every contribution, big or small, helps them get closer to launch day and represent their school at the national level.
