My grandmother is an amazing woman who has celebrated life to the fullest. 

As of December 2024, her ability to do so changed very rapidly, as she was diagnosed with major medical conditions which required her to retire from her lucrative career as a mobile disc jockey and successful IHSS provider. 

At the end of last year, my mom has taken on the full responsibility of making sure my grandmother is cared for with love, dignity, and consistency. She has established a beautiful sanctuary of a home for my grandmother while also maintaining a full-time job, balancing coordination of multiple medical appointments, maintaining proactive communications with care teams and advocating for clarity and thorough care for my grandmother. 

Your contributions will help support essential medical, dental and caregiving needs for our family that are not covered by my grandmother’s medical or disability insurances, such as dental procedures, respite for my mother and specialized transportation.
