Hello, I am reaching out as a single mom leaning on faith while caring for my son and my elderly father. I am trying to hold my family together through a tough time. My father had to have hip surgery, and ever since then his mobility and health has taken a turn for the worst. It all started at the Nursing home facility. He was sent there from the hospital so he could start the recovery process to gain his mobility back and sadly they failed him. His quality of life declined rapidly while in there..I made the decision to remove him from their care, or lack there of. The lack of care he received at the nursing facility  has significantly prolonged his recovery process. He still needs help with walking, dressing, bathing and simply moving around safely. I want to be there for him, but I am raising my son alone since his father passed away and I need to work again to provide for my son and being his full-time caregiver while trying to work and be there for my son is not going to work at all, I need help, I can't do it alone. My dad deserves to heal in a safe, familiar environment. This Fundraiser will help cover costs for temporary in home care for my dad while he gets back on his feet.
