Hello! I hate doing things like this but honestly I'm kinda at my wits end. This year has been a roller coaster ride of crap. 

Mother's day of this year my boyfriend of 10 years woke up unable to see from one of his eyes. The vision came mostly back, however they didn't/don't know what caused it. 

So fast forward to August he's had a blind spot and headache for 3 months. Then his toe nail gets infected, we took him to the er where they removed the toe nail. By the end of October we decided it wasn't getting any better and went back to the doctors. 

The doctors then determined that the toe had become gangrenes and had to be removed. After lots of tests and stress and worry they found that my partner had almost no blood flow to his legs. So after three surgeries and a week in the hospital he's minus a toe but alive. (Doctors said he would have died of we waited longer) 

What this means for us however besides tons of stress is this. 

My boyfriend makes the consistent money in our house hold (works as a handyman). I work as a freelance illustrator and while I make decent money its not consistent.  We're currently scrambling to find ways to pay our bills but we don't haven any family that we can ask for help. 

So I guess we will see how this does. 

If we reach our goal we will use the funds to pay our bills for the next month or so while we wait for him to be cleared for work again.
