Heart Surgery

Hello, my name is Adra, and I am a mother of two children. I am facing a major health challenge and will soon be undergoing open-heart surgery due to severe tricuspid valve disease. Over time, my condition has caused increasing shortness of breath, fatigue, heart palpitations, and difficulty performing everyday tasks that most people take for granted.

As I prepare for surgery and recovery, I am worried about how I will provide for my family while I am unable to work and care for my children the way I normally do. Recovery from open-heart surgery can take weeks to months, and the financial burden of medical expenses, travel, household bills, childcare needs, and lost income is overwhelming.

I never imagined needing to ask for help, but right now I am focusing on getting healthy so I can be here for my children and continue being the mother they need.
