My name is Sean, and I am a 38-year-old single father and proud Marine and 3 tour combat veteran. Today, I find myself in an emergency that I never anticipated, and I am reaching out to you for help.
After serving my country for over 8 years, I returned home hoping to build a stable life for my Daughter, who is just 9 years old. The transition back to civilian life was challenging, but I was ready to embrace it.
However, life can be unpredictable. Just a few weeks ago, I was laid off from my job due to unforeseen circumstances at my company. As a single father, this has plunged me into a financial crisis that I never saw coming. With bills piling up and the cost of living rising, my savings are dwindling fast. Each day, I worry about how I will put food on the table and keep a roof over our head.
With each passing day, the weight of this emergency grows heavier. My heart aches knowing that I might not be able to provide for my daughter the way she deserves. Jamie is a bright and cheerful kid that doesn't understand financial hardship and that is what drives me to reach out for help.
