Latest update as of Nov 24, 2024

  • Chris’ utility bill was paid just in time by his friend Dan. He has really taken the reins with working on his financial issues and getting things in order for him. If no one told you thank you Dan, we really appreciate all you are doing. His cousin Liz has helped to clean for him so he will be coming back to less chaos. Her and her daughter have been taking good care of Beauty while he is inpatient. I personally spoke with him yesterday and he couldn’t wait to come home, but he is really trying to work on himself. He is hoping to get out on Tuesday, which is just in time for the holiday. Thank you all for donating or just overall helping someone in need. We all struggle sometimes, but it takes a team to help someone out the darkness. Whether it was a big or small gesture of kindness, thank you. 😊

About this fundraiser

Hello, my name is Nicole and I’m hoping to help my dear friend Chris raise some money to help with rent/bills as he continues to struggle with mental health issues. This has been a long battle for him and the extra stress of bills makes it hard for him to get treatment. Over the past couple months he has declined emotionally and attempted multiple times to take his life. He lives alone with his aging dog and cannot afford to miss work and/or catch up on his growing debt to get the proper treatment. Chris continues his employment working with adults with intellectual/development disabilities and although it’s a job he loves, it doesn’t pay a significant amount. He needs to work more hours to pay his debts, which he cannot do during this time. He was just informed that he will be evicted from his apartment within the next week and does not have the money or anywhere to go!
Going into the holiday season, it would be great to be able to give back and help someone who really needs help!  Any and all donations are appreciated. Let’s make sure that Chris has a Home to go to and hopefully some debt payed to help ease some of the stress.
If you would feel more comfortable he does have a Venmo account: @Chris-Gallucci-81 that he can also receive donations.

  • *update: 12/16 Chris is currently inpatient and he is getting the help he needs. He wanted everyone to know that he is safe and he is thankful for everything. This is taking the stress off his shoulders as he works on his mental health.
