My daughter Ashley Lute started a new chapter in her life. On aug, 28 she went to the ER for abdominal pain. They did a CT scan of her abdomen and accidentally went lower and got her thighs. The ER doctor saw a mass in her left thigh and told her to see her primary doctor. She saw him and he ordered an MRI with contrast, which she had sept 3. Sept 4 she got a call from her Dr referring her to ortho oncology. She met with him and he ordered a biopsy, which she had sept 19. She got results and saw the oncologist again.she was diagnosed with a low grade sarcoma.they recommended pre operative radiation.this will shrink the tumor and make it easier to remove, along with minimizing bleeding, complications and recovery time. She had a CT of her lungs because that is where this kind of tumor moves to. The CT showed 2 nodules in her her lungs. Before she begins radiation she will have a pet scan. This scan showed the 2 nodules in her lungs. They will keep an eye on them and see if they grow. She has completed all tests and scans and will begin radiation M-F for 5 weeks and then have a month off before they will remove the mass. Today we found out that her insurance does not cover cancer treatment. We need to raise funds to cover her cancer treatment. Please donate what you can. Prayers are also needed. Ashley is being very positive about all of this! Her family is behind her 100% as well as her friends! SHE WILL BEAT THIS!!!

Lord I do not know what the future holds, but I know you are in control, and your plans for me and good. I surrender my plans, my fears, and doubts to you this October. I know you never give me more than I can bear because where my strength ends, yours begins. In the name of Jesus amen
