Last May (‘23), Bekki had an infection in her bile duct that affected her pancreas, liver & gallbladder. Since then she’s been having some health issues because of that infection which affected those 3 organs. Her team of doctors suggested a visit with some specialists and get evaluated to get listed as a candidate/recipient for a liver transplant. We live in Montana and the transplant team is in Denver, CO. Once she receives the call and a donor is located, we’ll have 12 hours to get her to Colorado for surgery. Once transplant is done, there will be about 3 weeks of recovery there at the medical center and then her discharge but we will have to remain in the immediate Denver area by orders of the medical team. We are looking for any financial help for various costs for fuel, lodging (Airbnb) etc.
