About this fundraiser

Audrey is the sweetest 4 year old with a pure and kind spirit. She struggles with Dravet Syndrome and Autism. Currently we are waiting for state benefits for her ABA therapy and in home care services as she is unable to be unsupervised at any time due to her seizure disorder. Dravet syndrome is a rare, severe epilepsy syndrome that begins in early childhood.

Audrey will be having VNS surgery in early November. This surgery is a device that is implanted under the skin in the left chest area. An electrode or wire is attached to the generator device and placed under the skin. The wire is attached or wound around the vagus nerve in the neck. She will be out of school for a week after and will require constant supervision.

In order to pay for extra equipment to care for her during the time after her surgery so she does not hurt her incisions and for her to start her ABA therapy after this date I am asking for your help. If you are able to help this would mean so much to myself and Audreys care. Thank you all for your support.
