Hi, my name is LaTesha, and I’m the founder of AusomePlay — a heartfelt passion project born out of love, experience, and a deep desire to make a difference in the lives of children with disabilities. This idea first came to me 5 years ago during the pandemic.
My (then) 6 year old son had been newly diagnosed with ADHD and Autism. I was alone and in over my head so I joined a few Mom groups on Facebook and saw other Moms having similar challenges. It broke my heart and I wanted to help somehow.
AusomePlay is a mobile app created to help children with special needs connect and build real, meaningful friendships in a safe and supportive environment. Too often, children with disabilities feel left out or misunderstood. I believe every child deserves to experience the joy of companionship — to be seen, heard, and loved just as they are.
The concept and design are already in place, and our mission is clear. Now I need your support to bring AusomePlay to life.
