Hello Beloved Family & Friends
In September of 2025, our mom was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. Some of you may know that, unfortunately, this is not my mom's first cancer diagnosis. On December 31st 2012, my mom was told she had Stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma. This was an extremely devastating experience for our whole family, and with the diagnosis she received, it was truly amazing that she survived. Through persistence, resilience, and love, she fought for her health and completed her treatment with the help of wonderful doctors and the support and compassion of family and friends.

My mom's treatment for her cancer will consist of chemotherapy through mid May. She will then have to take a months rest before beginning a vigorous radiation schedule of 5 to 6 days a week for a month.

She has already faced a delay in her treatment due to a hospitalization she endured for 5 days in January as a result of complications during surgery in November. She unfortunately contracted MRSA, and had to endure major surgeries at the hospital to treat the infection, and replace the chemo port which became infected at that time.

For many of us, we know a loved one who has fought with cancer. It is already a traumatic, life changing experience, let alone fighting it multiple times in one's life. To have to stress about medical expenses on top of maintaining financial expenses in these continuous, tough, current times, creates an insurmountable amount of pressures and stress. Ever since the sudden loss of our dad in 2020, the three of us have been doing our best to sustain our livelihoods.

I know that many of us are experiencing hardships of our own. It is very difficult to ask for help in these situations when we all have a battle we're enduring in some way. Which is why all I can ask for is to help create awareness.
