Asking for help is not easy for us, but we are reaching out with hope as we take the next step toward growing our family.

Our family experienced the heartbreaking loss of our son, Ollie, who was stillborn at full term. Losing him changed our lives forever. Not only did Brandon and I lose a son, but our daughters lost their baby brother. Ollie was deeply loved and eagerly awaited, and his absence is something our family carries with us every day.

During our hospitalization when we thought we would be bringing our son home with us to complete our family, I had previously signed papers to have my fallopian tubes removed. During the tragic loss and immense suffering I didn’t get the opportunity to change my mind before I underwent surgery. During the same hospitalization when we lost Ollie, I underwent surgery to have my fallopian tubes removed. At the time, we were navigating unimaginable grief and making difficult medical decisions. We never imagined that one day IVF would become our only path to having another biological child.

Over time, we have worked to rebuild our lives while keeping Ollie’s memory at the center of our family. We talk about him, remember him, and love him just as much today as we always will.

Now, we are pursuing IVF with the hope of growing our family. This journey is not about replacing Ollie—nothing could ever replace him. He will always be our son, and our daughters will always have a brother. Pursuing IVF is about allowing ourselves to hope again and giving our family the opportunity to welcome another child into our lives.

Unfortunately, IVF comes with significant financial costs. Fertility medications, monitoring appointments, egg retrieval, embryo testing, and embryo transfer expenses add up quickly. While we are working hard, making sacrifices, and contributing everything we can, we still face a substantial financial burden.
