My sister, Belinda Decker Nanninga, has recently been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She is currently at KU Hospital in Kansas City, where she is being treated for sepsis caused by an infection. Once the infection clears, she will begin chemotherapy — 5 days on and 5 days off, for 4 weeks.

Belinda and her husband, Mark Nanninga, live in Osage Beach, Missouri, and will be traveling back and forth to Kansas City for her treatments. The cost of gas, lodging, meals, and medical-related expenses will quickly add up during this already overwhelming time.

I am asking from the bottom of my heart for your help. Any donation — big or small — will go directly toward easing the financial burden of travel and treatment expenses so they can focus on what truly matters: Belinda’s healing and recovery.
