I can’t believe it’s actually happening! I’ve been scheduled for my stage 2 phalloplasty on March 9! I’m feeling so many things for sure, but most of all the feeling like I’m finally going to be complete. 

My challenge is that I have to pay my insurance out of pocket maximum, which is $5500. I’m also going to be completely unable to work for the entire month of March. I will receive a portion of my salary for FMLI medical leave, but it will He paid late, as opposed to real time. 

Initially, I was just going to cancel and resign myself to a life as half man, but some very good friends convinced me to let my village step in and help me. So, here it is. If you can help, I will be so grateful.
