We are reaching out to family and friends requesting donations for a hardship in Betty Gibbens’ life. Everyone that knows Betty recognizes what a wonderful caring woman she has been over the years. She has loved her family, friends, and neighbors unconditionally. 

Most importantly she has prayed for so many of us. Betty has truly been our prayer warrior through so many difficult situations. Two years ago, she lost her husband, Don. She was left with significant medical and death expenses and significant loss of income. On Monday, October 16th her only son, Donny passed away. She is dealing with overwhelming grief. She is also dealing with continued financial responsibilities, and the expense of the loss of a loved one.

Community begins with charity to one another.

We are taking up a collection for Betty Gibbens to show her our love and gratitude for all she has done for us and everyone she knows. Our desire is to ease her mounting financial struggle during this extremely challenging time. Only by giving are we able to receive more than we already have. Giving is not only about donating, it is about making a difference.
