On Sunday, July 2nd 2023, A beautiful friend of mine went to be with Jesus after being faced with numerous health difficulties. She always put everyone and their needs before herself and lit up every room she walked into with her infectious laugh.

My name is Samantha and I had the honor of calling Wendy my friend, though she was more of family. She was the most selfless person I met in all my life. Every time I asked, "How are you?" The immediate response was" Who cares! I want to know about you girly!" She is going to be missed beyond belief.

With that said, I have been left to coordinate Wendy's funeral arrangements. We have been faced with some financial hardship in moving forward. This breaks my heart as I am ready to get her to her final resting spot, which is to be laid beside her sister.
