I know the holiday season is a busy time for everyone, and I sincerely appreciate you taking a moment to hear my story.

I am writing to you today because I find myself in a difficult position that is hard for me to put into words. Currently, my family is getting by on a very tight budget, and between keeping food on the table and staying caught up on bills, there is very little left over. My work truck—our only means of transportation—has reached a point where it is no longer safe to drive. My mechanic has informed me that it urgently needs new brakes, rotors, and struts, totaling approximately $1,600.

I have tried my best to hold off on these repairs and keep pushing forward, but I have reached a crossroad. Without this truck, I cannot get to work to provide for my family. Asking for help is not something I do easily, but I am doing so now with a humble heart in hopes of keeping my livelihood intact.
