About this fundraiser

Hello!

I am creating this fundraiser in the hopes that any generous and giving would be willing to donate and help me raise enough money to pay for a surgery I’ve needed for a very large percentage of my life.
I have seen specialists and been through many doctors to see what my options are for a breast reduction/reconstruction for many years and have yet to come across one that actually hears me and my complaints. I’ve had large breasts my entire life, as I hit puberty at the unfortunate age of 8 years old and had breast buds at the age of 6. When I was 6 or 7 years old I was hit hard enough over my left breast bud that the pain persisted for a long while, and eventually I had to be seen by a pediatrician who confirmed that there was damaged/dead tissue on my left side. This lead to my left not growing at the rate of my right (not regular asymmetry as there is a missing piece of breast tissue and the missing area is the shape of a pizza slice).  My right breast, however, is the problem side. My right breast has been roughly 3 to 4 cup sizes bigger than my left, growing steadily over the years due to fibrocystic breast tissue which is slowly but surely turning into very hard, rope like tissue that is visible through the skin. It is also significantly heavier than my left which is starting to cause my spine to curve and my neck to not turn to the right without pain. I’ve done bra fittings and there is never any relief due to the weight and size difference. I’ve also gone to physical therapy, lost almost 45lbs, started weight lifting, still with no change or relief. I have also cut out dairy, gluten, most sugars, and caffeine just in case thats part of the issue. Even with the weightloss, my breast did not go down in size whatsoever. I am only 28 years old and the back issues, neck issues, and chronic headaches that lead to migraines has severely affected my quality of life, which consists of rearing my 4 children all under 12. Any savings or paychecks go to them, and bills. I Have spoken to breast specialists but because it is not cancerous I cannot get it covered by insurance regardless of the boxes I have checked off for qualifications. Getting testing is also getting increasingly difficult due to how dense the breast tissue is. MRI testing will most likely give false positives (Breast specialists words) and anything less strong would give false negatives if I ever needed extra testing or screening for breast cancer.

My hope is to raise enough money to cover a decent portion of the surgery so that I may get a reduction/reconstruction on my right and a reconstruction of my left if that is what I need due to the large missing area of breast tissue. This surgery would GREATLY increase my quality of life, and drastically decrease my daily pain, allowing me to live more presently with my children and possibly be able to regain the ability to do things with them such as sports or trampolines without the days to weeks of severe pain that follows. It would also drastically increase my self confidence, strength, and potential in the gym. All in all, it would change my life, and I would use every second to the absolute fullest that I would be able to with regained mobility and strength. If any of you have ever experienced severe chronic pain… well, if you know, then you know, and if you don’t, be grateful that you don’t. All of this being said, if even 1 dollar is donated by enough people I would be able to do this. So if it is in your heart to donate, I would be eternally grateful. Thank you so much for your time and for reading this far.
