Michele’s Story: In December of 2023 my mom Michele was diagnosed with Stage 2a ductile invasive Her2+ pr- which is an estrogen driven form of cancer. Since then, she has been undergoing chemo treatments about every 3 weeks. Mom will be finishing chemo treatments as of April 24th and then we will start preparing for her surgery. She will be having a double mastectomy, taking her out of work for quite a while. Chemo for the past few months has been grueling enough financially and this will be another obstacle we will have to face.
