My son, Michael Morgan, was shot in the face by a “friend”, Damone Allen Purnell, in Arizona on 08/02/24. He was on life support for 2 days & passed away on 08/04/24. 
 

Mikey’s heart was gifted to a 54 y/o man in California, his lungs to a 68 y/o man in Utah, his liver to 42 y/o man in California, 
one kidney and pancreas to a 43 y/o female in Arizona, and his other kidney to a 13 y/o male in Arizona...Mikey's decision saved five lives. 
 

Michael Morgan was born in Brooklyn, NY on 05/31/06 @ 4:20am. He left behind his 13 year old sister, Mariah McCray & his 11 year old brother Randy Jr. Tuggier McCray & unborn child with Nadia.

Michael's mom is Monique Morgan-McCray & I hope I describe the essence of my son properly……he was always happy, an athlete (football & basketball), loved music & dancing. He grew up to be a respectful, loving young man whose life was tragically cut short by Damone Allen Purnell. 

In 2015, due to my mental health, I unfortunately lost custody of Michael while living in Mesa, AZ. In 2017, I moved back to NY. Due to the stress of losing my kids & mental health, I starting using drugs to cope. In 2021, i returned to AZ in attempt to seek help for my substance abuse & mental health. Sadly it didn't work so I returned home to NY with my family in 2024. After returning to NY, my brother Kevin Morgan helped me get into detox & after completing my 5 day detox I went into a 28 day rehab. After completing rehab, I decided to go into a long term program, Outreach. I have been here for 4 months (sober date is 03/27/24). On 06/24 I reconnected with my son, Michael, after no communication for 7 years. Our bond became stronger than ever & spoke multiple times daily. 

I'm asking for help because I want to bring Michael home (from AZ to NY) so I can give him a proper funeral & burial. Can you please find it in your hearts to understand what I'm going through & bring my son home to me? It's killing me inside that I can't afford to do this for my son & kindly requesting help.
