It is with heavy heart and owner permission that I am reaching out to ask every individual I know, every dog lover, rescuer and supporter to come together as I announce that the sweet girl Bunni has been unfortunately diagnosed with lymphoma. If you’re unsure what this means, she has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of Cancer. A million thoughts have crossed my mind because I cannot understand or ever agree to how this dogs life was once nearly taken by the cruel acts of animal cruelty and took 3 bullets and survived to be given a prognosis 2 years later of 1-3 months to live, or find the funds to try chemotherapy and hope for a response to get a little longer of time (possibly a year). I can only imagine how hard this is not only on her, but her family who has given her devoted love, and unimaginable experiences at what being a dog is all about. She has watched her momma walk down the aisle. She’s got to dance in the wedding.. she’s experienced fishing adventures, and all the outdoor has to offer. She truly has been living the dream life, and it tears me to pieces it’ll come to an end sooner than it ever should. She’s a statement story and I’ve felt overly compelled to continue to help her and her family. While the family has asked for nothing, I’m asking if we all can come together for Bunni. By doing so I am asking if we can raise enough funds to provide Bunni a little bit longer at life. Longer to receive snuggles and pets, longer to float one more time in a swimming pool, and longer time for her family to soak up every last bit of time they have with her.
