Hi, my name is chel, and I’m asking for help during one of the most difficult transitions of my life.

I am currently living in an emotionally abusive household. Over time, the environment has become unsafe for my mental and emotional well-being, and I have also experienced threats that have made it clear I cannot remain here long-term. I’ve been told that when I turn 18, I will be forced to leave. Without intervention, I will be facing homelessness.

I am doing my best to prepare, but I am at a serious disadvantage. I work, but my job does not pay enough to save quickly, and I am unable to take on better-paying work because I don’t have a car. Public transportation in my area is limited, and without reliable transportation, my employment options are extremely restricted.

This fundraiser is to help me:

Purchase a reliable used car

Cover basic expenses required to safely transition out of my household

Secure stability so I can continue working, pursue better opportunities, and avoid homelessness

I am not asking for luxury—only a chance at safety, independence, and stability. A car would allow me to expand my job options, get to work consistently, and begin building a life away from an abusive environment.
