As most of you know, my dad has been on and off work for over a year due to lots of medical issues. He had his foot amputated last year. In December, he was finally able to return to work, but it did not last long. He recently received the diagnoses of lymphatic cancer. Due to being a kidney recipient, he is unable to complete chemo and radiation. UVA is trying some alternative options. He recently spent multiple weeks admitted at UVA while they did a biopsy and tried to get his hemoglobin stabilized. However, he is once again unable to work. While he hopes to return to work, anyone that knows him knows all he thinks about is going to work, it currently isn’t an option. As I’m sure you can imagine, the medical bills and regular bills are piling up. I’m starting this to help with some of the financial burdens they are facing. He is currently home but has a very weak immune system. Please send lots of prayers and healing thoughts his way. I will do my best to keep you all updated.
