Peyton was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma in 2021 after doctors found 11 tumors. He has been through 2 brain surgeries, 1 spine surgery, 30 rounds of high dose radiation, 27 rounds of chemo so far, had 4 feeding tubes, developed Epilepsy, and now fighting relapse which they say there is no cure for. We won't listen to those words because giving up is not an option. Since relapse he has lost the ability to walk, developed respiratory failure and numerous other complications. We have been back in Memphis TN for 16 months away from our family in SC fighting this horrible disease after spending almost 19 months here the first time fighting. Neither myself or Peytons Dad has been able to work since we have been here because it's a 24/7 job right now taking care of Peyton and fighting this monster and everything that comes with it. Things have been hard and getting harder the longer we are here. Not just everyday expenses adding up but there is also repairs to our home that will have to be made before Peyton comes home. It's all a lot and I feel like I'm letting my family down at times, but I know that we are doing the absolute best we can and are in the right place to help Peyton even though we are so far from home. We are thankful to everyone that supports, prays, and loves Peyton through this because with your support and God we will get through this…..FAITH
Landon Story
Landon our other son was in a horrific accident Sat Sept 20 2025 where he was ejected from his Jeep before it landing on him. By God's grace Landon is here with us he's still in ICU they have been keeping him heavily sedated because when he wakes up he was very agitated. He's waking up a little more today and is really confused and upset which is all coming from the traumatic brain injury. He has been taking to us some and that's a blessing to hear his voice. So far we know that his skull was fractured in two places with pieces embedded in his brain. He had several hemorrhages on the brain. He has 52 staples in his head where they opened him up ear to ear. His left side of his face is completely broken in pieces that are still floating around. His nose is crushed and pushed in to where one of the broken bones has his eye muscle trapped. His eye socket is broken and he has several lacerations on his face and road rash. His pelvis is fractured in three places, his knee is fractured and he has a torn ACL. The towing service said it was one of the worst Jeeps they had ever recovered from a wreck😭. God was with our boy that day and he will continue to be with him through this long hard road. We will have to split up and one of us go back to St Jude with Peyton and one stay here with Landon, it's gonna rip our hearts out. Right now we are renting Air bnbs in Greenville close to the hospital so we can look after them both while here. Please continue to pray hard for our family and our boys right now because God's gonna get us through this. Thank you all so much for your love and support.
