UPDATE: I am absolutely blown back. Thank you, thank you so much. I'm going to be able to get Kitty and myself a ticket and pet some capys!! I'll try to get the experience on video so I can share it all with you. If I get any more donations I'll put them towards supplies for my birthday party, and you're all invited. ❤

Hi everyone! I'm Poppy. My birthday is coming up soon, and there's only one thing I want for it: to take my girlfriend Kitty to pet a capybara at NOVA Wild. She *adores* capybaras but has never gotten to touch one. She is going through a really tough time right now and I really want to surprise her with this (she doesn't even know there are any in Virginia!). Seeing her shocked, happy face at an unexpected capy encounter would be the best present I could ever receive.

Sadly, I am struggling a lot with income right now, largely thanks to certain recent political happenings. Tickets are ~100, and my budget just doesn't support anything with three digits that isn't food or rent. I would love your help to make this happen for Kitty. She is the sweetest, most caring person I know, and she has been there over and over for me when things have been rough. She deserves the world, and all I want now is to make her smile.
