We never thought our family would be on this side of the fence, but here we are. My son’s wife, Cheryl Factor, and his youngest daughter, Cyndle Thatcher, were in a car accident on Tuesday, 05/21/24. They were rear-ended while stopped at a red light by a negligent driver who never even hit the brakes. Cheryl has suffered herniated disks in C3 and C4 and is in considerable pain. She is now unable to work due to her injuries, putting their family in a tough position, as my son is now the only one who can lift and care for their disabled daughter, who suffers from Spinal Muscular Atrophy.

Cyndle also sustained injuries to her lower back, preventing her from working for the time being. They are pursuing legal action, but it could take months, if not years, for a resolution.
