Hi! I’m a 100% Disabled Veteran. I was involved in a motor vehicle accident on 11/14/23 at the HRBT in Hampton, VA. I was not at fault for this accident. I was cut off by a young driver. Unfortunately, my car was a total loss. When I purchased my 2017 GMC Acadia my husband’s insurance agent sold us on what he believed was GAP Insurance. After, all was said and done I am left holding the bag for $5,399.69 to M&T Bank. I have no vehicle and I have to keep paying. I unfortunately am not able to work. Due to economic difficulties I don’t have any saving. I’m living paycheck to paycheck. I’m driving a 1997 Honda Accord which I am grateful for but is physically challenging for me to drive. I have never done anything like this before and have struggled my whole life asking for help. I’m asking for more than I owe the bank in hopes of getting a little newer car than my 97 Accord.
