About this fundraiser

I never thought I'd find myself in this position, but here I am. A few months ago, I lost my mom. She was my rock, my support system, and my safe place. Then I lost my job. And just when I thought things couldn't get harder, I was diagnosed with Celiac disease.

The diagnosis explained so much about why I've been so sick. Every time I eat, my body attacks itself. The pain is unbearable, and I can barely function on days when the symptoms flare up. I need diagnostic surgery to fully understand the extent of the damage and to get proper treatment, but I can't afford it right now. I'm barely keeping my head above water.

What keeps me going is my family, even though it looks different than most. I'm a mom, and I have to be strong for my kids. I also have a rescue dog, two cats, and a rescue bearded dragon who depend on me. These animals have given me so much love when I needed it most, and I won't give up on them just like I won't give up on myself.

I'm reaching out because I need help. Medical care, especially the diagnostic surgery I need, is expensive, and without my job, I'm struggling. I'm asking for your support, not just for me, but for my family who needs me healthy and whole.

Thank you for believing in me when things feel impossible.
