Hi my name is Rogelio , I spend my entire life working hard for me and my family not only to make a change in their life but also to make a change in others focusing on community matters the word matters is what's most important in my message as a young child I would help out at the grocery store carrying bags for elderly people to their cars participating at the food pantries passing out bags of food to the less fortunate My family being one of those families I grew up in a rough neighborhood to make a way out I chose a path to educate myself I always wanted to be the difference in my family for years as a child I struggle to see a lot of my peers and their families have the things my family was unfortunately not able to afford catching the bus on cold winter days not having enough food to eat in our pantries or refrigerator wearing the same clothes two three times a week eating the same meals most of the times I not only speak on myself but I've also seen other family struggle as well as I have I've never been fortunate enough to further my education due to lack of funds and support I once dreamed  of becoming a great athlete but the dreams I had fell short because I had to take care of my family my two sisters and my brother while my mother went to work there was  no time for practice or to go outside  and play with my friends because my responsibilities as a child became those as an adult I watch over my siblings while my mother struggle to go to work everyday my father was never in my life so my mother was a sole provider I always told myself one day  my family would  be the difference makers in this world that when I had a family of my own that I would raise them up to be the greatest they can be I have two daughters who have graduated college and my youngest one graduating in January I worked all my life so that they can live the dream that I never had a chance to I have  given all my efforts and support to them every which way possible with my wife by my side struggling in our own situation to help our daughters have a better situation or  their lives at one point I waned  to go back to school and continue my education but as a married man my wife has dreams  of her own working in the medical field as a CMA I felt it was important to put her needs before my own and to watch her succeed and furthering her education in having a job she dreamed of My wife is a CMA she's been a CMA for over 20 years I'm very proud of her and her accomplishments my dreams for myself had to be put on hold because there wasn't enough income for us as a couple to fund both our dreams I am now 50 years old The dreams I had before sit and wait for me at the door The opportunity before me presents it's self my interest in having my own logistics transportation business is a dream that I like to pursue I've been driving with the class C driver's license for over 20 years and I would love to get my class A CDL license and  soon after open my logistics business to afford those who have been through the struggles that I've been through to give the chance to the youth & struggling parents to find their way for those being denied the opportunity to change their lives in a positive and constructive way I want to build communities of individuals who have the dreams that I once had  as a young man to create a life for their families and change their  communities and their neighborhoods one person one family at a time my mission is a selfless one with your help I'm able to tackle more than just helping struggling families but change the mindsets of poverty and homelessness in our communities in our world I want to be able to give back and put a smile on the faces of those who who had doubts in their ability to succeed ! As you afford me this opportunity to not only make a change in my life but to make a change in others your donations will go so much further than you ever imagine to see the change in our communities with  thriving businesses with the help of hard-working individuals who otherwise wouldn't have the opportunity if no one stood up and took a chance for change there's millions and millions of people in this world you know in the hearts with the right opportunity that change can happen in this world that guns will be put down and poverty reversed books will be picked up communities could  change & opportunities affording struggling youth to dream again of the possibilities of having their dreams come true with your help I'm able to open the doors that otherwise wuld  be closed for those who seek the chance for change in their lives !
