My momma, born in Lakeland, Florida, on November 30, 1951, gained her wings on Thursday, November 13, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. 🕊️

My beautiful mother was diagnosed with Stage 4 bilateral lung cancer on September 23, 2025. After two chemotherapy treatments, 52 days, and one hell of a fight, her little body could go no longer. For which she faced every moment with courage, grace, and the fierce love she was known for. ❤️‍🩹

You were the sweetest, kindest, and most thoughtful soul. 🌸 You left an impression on everyone fortunate enough to be in your presence. You were not only my creator, but also my best friend. Thank you for the journey and for the path ahead of me that you helped me build. 🤍

Momma, thank you for your strength and your light. I will carry you with me always.

Claudia is survived by her devoted husband, Pat Payne; her children, Stephanie Kaufmann, Lisa, Stacey, and PJ; and her cherished grandchildren, Robert, Royal, Kirk, Quinn, and Alexis. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦✨ She is also survived by her step-mother(mother), Mariam, and her siblings, David, John (Toby), Barbara, and Kevin. 💞
