Last week, our world lost a kind and beloved soul, Marty, who passed away suddenly. For those who knew him, Marty was a friend, and a warm spirit who brought joy to others despite his modest means, he would offer his coat, if you were cold. Now his wife, Dana, who has shared nearly 4 decades with him, now faces an up hill challenge not only grieving the loss of her partner of 38 years, but also confronting a financial crisis that could leave her destitute.  

Our Immediate Need: Will Be Covering Funeral Costs Even the most basic form of laying Marty to rest—cremation—requires upfront payment. The funeral home has kindly expedited the process, but Dana cannot receive Marty’s ashes until the bill is paid in full

Our Goal: We are seeking to raise $15000 which will go directly toward:

Paying for Marty’s cremation and funeral services so Dana can finally receive his ashes and have closure.

Providing essential financial support for Dana to cover living expenses until her survivor benefits take effect.
