Kassie and Tony Hathaway welcomed their baby boy into the world September 18th, 2023. Kassie was diagnosed with Pre-eclampsia, and after being transferred to the UW Medical Center, diagnosed with HELLP Syndrome. which required an emergency C-section. Cyprus Wilson Hathaway was born three months early and will need a lengthy (approximately 2-3 months) NICU stay to ensure that he is healthy, safe, and fully developed. His parents need help making sure they can pay his medical bills and have the peace of mind to focus solely on his recovery, rather than the additional stress of medical debt. On top of this already difficult time, Tony was unfortunately involved in a car accident while following Kassie's ambulance to the hospital. Tony is uninjured, but the vehicle was a total loss. All funds raised will go directly to covering hospital bills, temporary housing, and any other unexpected expenses that may arise from Cyprus's hospital stay.
