About this fundraiser

Ed Dean is a Gulf War Veteran, great son, and good friend in need of adaptive care equipment due to a spinal injury. The VA provided great care in Richmond VA. But there is so much more that he is in need of for his independence at home.  He even hopes to drive again in order to continue to be self-sufficient, support himself and keep giving to his community and others.

In less than a year he suffered injuries due to serious falls, tests revealing a kidney tumor, cancer surgery, and spinal surgery leaving him unable to walk.

Trying to adapt to his new reality, Ed has limited movement in his hands, and is now dependent on his power wheelchair, and adaptive daily living aids.

In spite of the new challenges life has thrown him he continues to work through his profound limitations.

He’s moved into his new world determined to work from home as a well-respected travel advisor. and chose not to apply for disability but keep his impressive work ethic in tact as before.  Acceptance with grace and determination.

Family and friends are blessed by his strength and faith. And those who know him, understand his character and strength. GIVE A HAND and PLEASE DONATE (any amount)  for this most deserving man who has enjoyed giving so much of himself to others.  - Blessings! And Gratitude!  🙏🏻🕊️
