Good morning. 2 weeks ago my dad was in his shop welding A trailer and needed a block of wood. He put the block of wood into his saw, the blade on his saw caught the block just right and kicked it back into his face causing severe damage to his right eye. When taken to the emergency room he required emergency surgery as he had fractured his nose, and you could see his Cartlidge and the bone on his forehead, which also requires stitches. His eye was severely damaged. He has barely any sight in it at this time they had to do several stitches to sew up the damage that they could use here in Missoula. He will have to go to Salt Lake and see a special eye surgeon there, and have at least three more surgeries before he is able to have very very limited sight in his right eye. My parents both live on Social Security and my dad worked graveyard at Walmart three nights a week just to make sure their bills were recovered. This is going to severely impact their ability to live as it will not allow my dad to work his job which pays their mortgage he’s going to be in Salt Lake at least a week after his surgery may be longer depending on how severe the internal damage is I’m asking for help for my parents. They’ve had a rough few years with several different medical emergencies. And right now they could really use a break with not having to stress about whether their mortgage or the power or groceries are going to be taken care of so I’m asking for help to see if we can at least get them a little bit of relief. Anything would be appreciated. My dad is truly having a hard time with not being able to live the life that he’s used to living as a busy man. He is unable to drive and do most things that he enjoys right now so I would really like to take some of the stress and worries off of their shoulders. I appreciate you taking the time to read this and I hope that we can give them a little breathing room thank you.
